Timothy D.J. Hennessy
Chairman, Board of Advisors, Co-Founder

Mr. Hennessy is Chief Executive Officer and Director of VRB Power Systems. As a co-founder of The Steadfast Group, Tim also heads up The Steadfast Group's Board of Advisors. In that capacity, he brings more than twenty years of management and technical experience in the international power and energy fields. Prior to co-founding The Steadfast Group, he served as Managing Director of European Operations and Vice President for LECTRIX LLC where he was responsible for the design and build-out of numerous datacenters. Prior to that, Mr. Hennessy was a Vice President at PacifiCorp Energy Services where he implemented a number of substation automation and large-scale SCADA systems in the United States, Mexico, and South Africa. Before joining PacifiCorp, Mr. Hennessy started and ran PQT, a specialized power quality solutions provider for large industries and commercial companies. He has consulted extensively with companies and research bodies and worked for ESKOM in South Africa where he gained extensive field experience in power system operations and protection and telecommunications. He has first hand experience with physical utility security and terrorism. He has published over twenty refereed papers, and authored numerous magazine articles. Mr. Hennessy holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Masters in Engineering and has completed additional degree studies in economics and management.
